Today we are an original and design hotel, but in every stone of the Posada del Dragón you can feel the tradition of a history that goes back to the times of the Catholic Monarchs.
The walls still tell stories of merchants, swordsmen and squires of the 16th century and below the floors you can see how the old Christian city wall crosses the hotel from side to side.
We know you are eager to ask us why we are named after the mythical stone dragon that guarded the Moorish Gate.
We don’t just offer you a room, we offer you a piece of Madrid’s history, for you to use as a starting point for your own story.
This is your home…you provide the rest.
